Apres is a way of life in Whistler. After a long day in the mountains, what's better than knocking back a frothy cold one and sharing a pile of nachos with friends? Whistler's happy hours conveniently fall around the same time as the mountain closes or when the post-shed thirst kicks in. Here's a list of the best happy hours in town.

Dusty's Bar & BBQ
11am- Noon, 10pm - midnight daily
Mornings: $5.00 Caesars & $10.00 Voyageurs
Late: $10 for a can of lucky and shot of bourbon

Earl's
3pm - 5pm, 10pm - close daily
$4 highballs, $4 sleeves, $6 glasses of wine, $8 cocktails and $5 fries from 3-5 and 10-12 daily.

Tip: Earl's brunch (10am-2pm on weekends) has $6 mimomas & caesars, and the whole menu is $10 before 11am. On Mondays, try the coconut lime margarita.
Antico Pizzeria
All pints of craft beer are $4, all margarita pizzas $8, select cocktails $6.50. Pizza and a pint for $20 all day, every Tuesday.
Tip: Antico has one of the best craft beer selections in town. Fills up religiously after 7pm. Ranch sides are huge!
Hy's Steakhouse
4-6pm weekdays and 3-6pm weekends
$10 signature cocktails including mojitos and negronis, $9 for a 6oz featured wine & $7.50 local beers from Whistler and Howe Sound Brewing.
Tip: they also offer 30% off all their Sharing and Snacking menus.
Handlebar
12-1pm, 5-6pm, 10-11pm daily.
$5.25 for select craft beers. A small but popular local's hangout, it has arguably the best beer selection in town. Serves great German comfort food like pretzels, fried pickles and sausages that’ll satisfy that post-skiing hole in your stomach
Dubh Linn Gate
9am-11am, 5-7pm, 11pm-1am
Morning: $6 Mimosas, Caesars and specialty coffees
Night: $5 BC Craft Beers, Highballs and 6oz Wine.
Live music daily, Murphy's Irish Stout is a great cheap substitute for Guinness!
Tip: Red Truck Pints are always $6, the nachos are huge.

Discounts on whatever is the daily special. Pool table and jukebox upstairs, local's wine is cheap any time of day. Food is surprisingly good for a pub! Great, cozy atmosphere.
Tip: Try the truffle fries with halloumi.
All sammies & a side are $10.99 if you ask to "eat like a local". No drinks specials, but the beer selection is always on point with the opportunity to try rare and special editions pints from local breweries. Casual, spacious, with great atmosphere and decent prices.
Tip: Try the Thoughtful Falafel.
